On Friday the 29th July, I boarded a River boat at Westminster after buying a one way ticket to Hampton Court Palace. The journey was due to take about 3 1/2 hours, I had never actually been on a cruise down the Thames River so it was going to be quite an exciting experience.
Before I went down to board the boat, I took the opportunity to take a photo of this wonderful statue of Queen Boudica, who at the time of the Roman conquest of southern Britain Queen Boudica ruled the Iceni tribe of East Anglia alongside her husband King Prasutagus. This is the MI5 building as seen from the river, the building that houses the secret service that does not exist!

The Harrods Depository, where the wealthy used to store their possessions when they travelled the world to make their fortune in the distant past. The building has recently been renovated and converted in to luxury flats.
Arriving at Hampton Court Palace by river, it’s quite an impressive view.
