A boat trip along the Thames

London

On Friday the 29th July, I boarded a River boat at Westminster after buying a one way ticket to Hampton Court Palace. The journey was due to take about 3 1/2 hours, I had never actually been on a cruise down the Thames River so it was going to be quite an exciting experience.

Before I went down to board the boat, I took the opportunity to take a photo of this wonderful statue of Queen Boudica, who at the time of the Roman conquest of southern Britain Queen Boudica ruled the Iceni tribe of East Anglia alongside her husband King Prasutagus.
