I’m trying to work out the best way to hand over my home to my children, to avoid any complications in the future, but my wife is concerned that she could be bullied out of her home if anything happens to me, as she is their step-mother. I’ve enquired about trusts, but they seem expensive and I’m not completely convinced that she will be safe. Have you had any similar cases? Any suggestions?
